Supermarine Spitfire FR Mk.IXCs MJ351 & MK202 of 414 Squadron, 39 Wing RCAF (Basic Set) MJ351 as aircraft S "Violet-Dorothy was flown by F/L Ken Lawson through January-March 1945. MK202 ( Q) was flown by the squadron's commanding officer, S/L Gordon Wonnacott when he shot down several Luftwaffe fighters (and claimed another damaged) during operation Bodenplatte on 1 January 1945. This Basic version of the set includes only the individual markings for each subject plus clearly illustrated instructions for decal application.
