Zoukei-Mura SWS26 Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-3 Super Wing Series 1:32 Model Kit
Zoukei-Mura continues its acclaimed Super Wing Series (SWS) with the stunning 1:32 scale Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-3, one of the most iconic Luftwaffe fighters of WWII. Nicknamed the “Würger” (Shrike), the Fw 190 earned a formidable reputation thanks to its rugged construction, firepower, and outstanding combat performance.
Developed under Dr. Kurt Tank’s famous philosophy that “a fighter plane should be a warhorse, not a racehorse,” the Fw 190 was engineered for durability, ease of maintenance, and battlefield effectiveness. The early A-3 variant perfectly represents the classic short-nose Fw 190 design before later engine mount extensions altered the aircraft’s silhouette.
As expected from Zoukei-Mura’s Super Wing Series, this kit goes far beyond surface detail, offering an in-depth recreation of the aircraft’s structure and engineering. From the intricately detailed BMW 801 fourteen-cylinder radial engine to the highly functional cockpit layout, this model is designed to let builders experience the real aircraft during assembly.
Super Wing Series Detail
The highly detailed BMW 801 engine is fully represented with pushrods, baffle plates, exhaust system, engine mounts, and the innovative Kommandogerät engine control system, which was revolutionary for its time.
The cockpit faithfully recreates the compact yet highly ergonomic layout developed by Kurt Tank, with carefully arranged instruments and controls. The canopy can be displayed open or closed, with accurately reproduced rails and variant-specific headrests included for both configurations.
Zoukei-Mura’s extensive research and repeated design refinements have resulted in one of the most accurate early Fw 190 kits ever produced in 1:32 scale.
